Freedom for Ukraine

Freedom for Ukraine (Frihed for Ukraine) is a Danish based association that does fundraising and collects in-kind donations for the purchase and shipping of relevant materials and equipment to help Ukrainian soldiers in their fight against Russian aggression. E.g. thermal drones, winter jackets, medical equipment, generators, ATV off-road vehicle and field shovels. 

Freedom for Ukraine supports for the following units:

– 21st Special Infantry
– 120th Brigade Scout Company.
– 66th Brigades field hospital
– PTSD Med Combat Team, volunteer Russian soldiers in Ukrainian service.

Freedom for Ukraine engages in providing information about the war and developments in and around Ukraine. Most important are our regular updates about the war, Ukraine and daily life in Kyiv, which can both be followed on our Facebook page and read here on the Blog. In addition, we report directly from the front, organize demonstrations, hold lectures, make podcasts and much more…

Freedom for Ukraine also takes politicians on tours of Ukraine to build understanding and increase the support for Ukraine.  

Freedom for Ukraine was formed in early 2023 based on Chairman and co-founder Jens Alstrup’s travels and reports from Ukraine. With great knowledge of the country and the conditions as well as an extremely good network, Jens Alstrup has reported from Ukraine throughout the course of the war. Jens Alstrup is a regular writer for POV International.

Freedom for Ukraine is a member based organization. The board and activists are a group of Danes and Ukrainians. All are unpaid, but driven by a commitment based on solidarity with Ukraine and commitment to the fight against the injustice and aggression that Russia has carried out in Ukraine.
